Constant, safe and cost-effective hydrogen gas generation from FDGSi

The WM-H2 hydrogen generator uses the latest polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) technology to produce pure hydrogen. Hydrogen is produced using distilled or deionised water < 0.1 µS from hydrolysis, through a polymer membrane. Electrolytic dissociation separates the water into its two main components: hydrogen ready for analytical use, and oxygen that is released into the air.

No acid nor alkaline solutions are used and no desiccant cartridge maintenance is required.

The exclusive double gas column dryer regeneration system eliminates the usual down time for maintenance typical of other systems on the market, guaranteeing the best hydrogen purity (99.99999%) at all times.

The exclusive, electronically-controlled gas/liquid separator, automatically checks for internal leaks and constant control of operating parameters guarantees maximum safety. The touch screen LCD interface provides simple, user-friendly management.

Improve chromatograph results
The use of hydrogen as a carrier gas is faster and more sensitive than the more expensive (and increasingly scarce) helium lower temperature elution. This extends the life of the chromatograph column meaning run time savings of 25% to 35% without a decline in resolution.

The limited internal volume (less than 50ml) allows safe use of the gas generator where the use of cylinders is risky or prohibited. Built in safety features stop the unit in the event of leaks or malfunctions.

Ergonomic and compact design, simple installation
The unit can be installed in a laboratory, on or under a bench, eliminating the need for long gas lines from cylinders secured elsewhere.

The system allows for up to 10 units to work in parallel, with flowrates up to 12 L/min.
